He's buried in the Hopewell Cemetery.
3. LILLIAN ANN COUCHBorn 1871 in Lamar County, Texas.

4. WILLIAM G. COUCH [WILLY]Born 1873 in Lamar County, Texas.

<James was a Confederate soldier in the Civil War. He enlisted in Texas.He served from 1862 until 1865 in Company B, Alexanders Regiment in the Texas Cavalry.
His right hand had been shot which left it crippled and useless.

Martha died about 1876 in Texas.
James died 6 February 1916 in Arthur City, Lamar County, Texas.
