The imagination of a child
Is a wonder to behold,
And sometimes they don't grow up,
Until they're very old.
The child within our mind
Can imagine fairy sprites,
Or make a fairy tale
Out of visions of delight.

I grew up hearing stories
And tales of make believe,
My Grandma used to hold me
On her lap as she would read.
Myth or imagination
Are what dreams are made of,
And if we teach our children,
They'll also know about God above.

God plays an important part
In my life and work,
My gift is from Him,
I'm only the scribe.
So if you see something,
That really isn't there,
Perhaps you should look inside
And see that God is everywhere.
