Family Background

JOHN R. PARKER and SARAH E. ISAACS are my husbands
Paternal Grandparents.

Their son, JOHNEY F. PARKER, is my husbands Father.

Births

JOHN RALEIGH PARKER was born 25 December 1870
in Stoddard County, Missouri.

He is the son of JAMES PARKER and
MARY [SURNAME UNKNOWN] - possibly ROOD.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

SARAH ELLA ISAACS was born 12 June 1900
in Texas County, Missouri.

She is the daughter of GODFREY M. ISAACS
and SARAH E. SMITH.

Residence

It appears as though John moved around quite a bit.

He's been located in Mc Dougal, Arkansas;  Madison, Illinois;  Ironton, Missouri; and in Corning, Arkansas.

In 1880 he was found in Union Township, Dunklin County, Missouri and in 1900 he was in Salem, Dunklin County, Missouri.

He died in 1947 in Buckeye, Arizona.

Marriages

John married three times:

1.  Mary [Surname Unknown] - 1896

2.  Anne [Surname Unknown]
Date Unknown.

3.  Sarah Ella Isaacs
19 Dec 1920 in Bloomfield, Missouri.

John and Sarah separated 27 Sept 1933.
They divorced 6 years later in 1939
in Clay County, Arkansas.

It's been reported that Sarah just left her husband and one of her sons, Johney, without any notification. Johney F. was a young boy and was sick in bed when his mother deserted him. He was then raised by just his father.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Sarah also married three times:

1.  Albert Harrison Greathouse - 1917

3.  Alven Foster - 1930-1933

Children

It is believed that John Raleigh had 7 children when he married Sarah Ella (3 girls and 4 boys). Only one child has been found so far. It is uncertain whether his mother was Mary or Anne.

It's also believed that John and Mary had one or two children and that John and Anne had 5 or 6 children.

It's possible the one child found belonged to Mary because family tradition relates that Anne's children all died at birth or at young ages.
