She is the daughter of GODFREY M. ISAACS
and SARAH E. SMITH.

It appears as though John moved around quite a bit.He's been located in Mc Dougal, Arkansas; Madison, Illinois; Ironton, Missouri; and in Corning, Arkansas.
In 1880 he was found in Union Township, Dunklin County, Missouri and in 1900 he was in Salem, Dunklin County, Missouri.
He died in 1947 in Buckeye, Arizona.

It's been reported that Sarah just left her husband and one of her sons, Johney, without any notification. Johney F. was a young boy and was sick in bed when his mother deserted him. He was then raised by just his father.

It is believed that John Raleigh had 7 children when he married Sarah Ella (3 girls and 4 boys). Only one child has been found so far. It is uncertain whether his mother was Mary or Anne.It's also believed that John and Mary had one or two children and that John and Anne had 5 or 6 children.
It's possible the one child found belonged to Mary because family tradition relates that Anne's children all died at birth or at young ages.
The only child that has been found so far is: 1. WILLIAM [WILLY] PARKER

He died 29 Jan 1919 at the age of 16 years
in Louisiana (possibly Dubberly).

It is believed that John Raleigh Parker was fortunate enough to have never participated in any wars, nor did he ever enlist in the Armed Forces.

John Raleigh was an ordained Missionary Baptist Minister.He traveled around to different logging camps to preach.
One of the churches he preached at was "Landmark Missionary Baptist Church" in McDougal, Arkansas.
| Deaths |
John Raleigh died 4 October 1947 in Buckeye, Arizona
at the age of 67 years.He is buried in Buckeye, Arizona.

Sarah Ella died 19 June 1976 in Decatur, Illinois at the age
of 76 years.She is buried under the name Sarah Foster at the
Opdyke Cemetery in Opdyke, Illinois.
| Other Information |
John was a laborer in the lumber industry ... a boiler steam maker for saw mills.
Sarah was a cook at De Kalb Hospital in Illinois.
The son, John William Parker, is buried at the Bernie, Missouri Cemetery. There is also an "Emma Anne" buried near him. There is a concrete fence around the graves. There are no records or dates on the headstone of Emma Anne. It's unknown if this is another child or if it could have been John Raleigh's second wife, Anne.
