THOMAS  SKILLMAN was born about 1635-40
in Glasgow, Scotland.

His parents names are unknown.

SARAH  PETIT was born in 1648.

She is the daughter of JOHN  PETIT
and SARAH  SCOFIELD.

The only known places are Glasgow, Scotland;
Stamford,Connecticut;  New York and New Jersey.

Thomas and Sarah were married in 1669
in Stamford, Connecticut.

The only known children born from Thomas and Sarah are:

1.  THOMAS  SKILLMAN

Born 1670-71.

He married ANNETJE  ATEN in 1693.

He died in 1738.

2.  ELSJE  SKILLMAN

Born in 1672-73.

She married THOMAS ATEN.
They went to live in New Jersey in 1710-15.

She died in Somerset County, New Jersey.

3.  SARAH  SKILLMAN

Born in 1675.

She married CORNELIUS HENDRIXSEN 10 Aug. 1695
in the Dutch Reformed Church, New York, New York.

4.  LIZBET  SKILLMAN

Born in 1677.

She married JAN  ATEN.
They settled in Jamaica, Long Island, New York.

She is buried at 3-Mile Run, New Jersey.

Religion

It is assumed that they belonged to the Dutch Reformed Church.

Military

Thomas was a "Captain" in the military.

Deaths

Thomas Skillman died sometime prior to 1699.

There is no record of Sarah Petit's death.
